The Serangoon Garden Neighbourhood Police Post Anti-Scam Experiential Centre featured an interactive “Anti-Scam Vending Machine” installation designed to educate visitors through play, turning scam awareness into an engaging, hands-on experience.

Participants first engaged in a simple interactive game that tested their ability to spot common scam tactics and red flags in real-world scenarios. Upon completing the experience, users were rewarded with a surprise blind box dispensed from a physical vending machine, creating a memorable link between learning and reward.

The installation combined gamified education with tactile engagement, encouraging visitors to actively internalise anti-scam messages rather than passively receive information. This case study demonstrates how experiential design can transform serious public education topics into immersive, memorable journeys that drive stronger awareness and behavioural impact.
